The Windy City Blogger Collective is an organization
dedicated to helping bloggers do what they do better.
We publish content designed to educate bloggers in all categories and niches. We love researching and learning about this stuff and putting it all in one place for you! Our social channels are devoted to sharing helpful content and highlighting the work of our members.
And we love our members! They are constantly inspiring us and their community. The posts that are published on a daily basis reflect the passion our bloggers have in their craft. It is this passion and dedication to creating quality work that allows The Windy City Blogger Collective to partner with both local and national brands and bring sponsored content opportunities to our members.
WCBC was founded in January 2014 by a group of blogger friends who believed in the power of a network like this. We’ve evolved as an organization but our pillars remain the same – community, education, inspiration, events and networking. We promote inclusion and encouragement across the blogosphere and we can’t wait to see what we can do together!
Kit founded WCBC along with 4 blogging friends in 2014. Today she is at the helm of the organization.
Kit Graham’s life revolves around food and blogging. She is the author of The Kittchen a site filled with original recipes, restaurant reviews, and travel stories. In 2013, Kit wrote, photographed, and self published The Gourmet Grilled Cheese Cookbook, an ode to her favorite food from childhood. In 2014, Kit appeared as a contestant on the Spike TV reality cooking competition, Frankenfood, where she introduced the world to Mac and Cheese Jalapeño Poppers and snagged second place on the Chicago episode. She greatly frustrated the show’s producers by befriending and carpooling with her competitor. True to her friendly personality, Kit wants to make the Windy City Blogger Collective a friendly little corner of the internet where bloggers can support, inspire, and educate one another.
Kit is originally from Kennebunk, Maine, and relocated to Chicago in 2008 after attending grad school in New York City. Today Kit lives in Old Town with her husband, Charles.
Director of Member Engagement and Brand Partnerships
Ashlee O’Neil joined WCBC in December 2015. She currently runs all the social media accounts, communicates with brands, writes articles featuring members’ content, event recaps, you name it. Ashlee loves working for WCBC because we aid bloggers, connecting them to one another and are able to be a part of their journey.
