What do you get when you bring together 30 bloggers for brunch? A fun-filled morning full of mimosas, delicious food and lots photos! This past Sunday, Davanti Enoteca hosted WCBC members for a special blogger brunch. Like many of our bloggers, it was our first time at the Italian restaurant and boy they did not disappoint!

The brunch was held at Davanti Enoteca’s River North location. The restaurant is best recognized for showcasing classic Italian dishes with a rustic eatery feel. Davanti Enoteca is actually part of a series of restaurant concepts created by Chef Scott Harris, these establishments include Francesca’s, Fat Rosie’s, Disotto, and Glazed and Infused!

The food was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh and was presented so beautifully — like this delicious Burrata with roasted cherry tomatoes and basil pesto on Tuscan toast.

Or how about this Truffle Egg Toast, aka uovo tartufati, which is one of Davanti’s most popular menu items!

We can’t forget about these Prosciutto-Veal Meatballs with braised greens + shaved pecorino.

Bloggers got to get up close to the action with one of the chefs as he handmade the pasta. A little fun fact: most of their pasta is made on-site!

And who could pass up on this amazing build-your-own Bloody Mary bar! This self-serve bar has everything you could imagine to top this go-to brunch cocktail from bacon to asparagus to every hot sauce to known to man.

Just when everyone thought the day couldn’t get any better, bloggers were given a donut from Glazed and Infused as a parting gift!

As the brunch came to a close, members were encouraged to use the #WCBCDavantiBrunch hashtag on photos posted for a chance to win prizes such as gift cards to Davanti Enoteca and more!
